I'm a Wolverine married to a Buckeye...yeah, it happens.
Born and raised in Michigan...tried to leave, couldn't leave, still here...and that's ok.
96.4% of my family is here, I'd be straight up crazy to leave them, they are the greatest people ever. Blood and In-law, they are the reason I have the life I have and do what I do. They are little magical fairies that are always there to help out, all the time, no matter what, whether it's to babysit, hang some drywall, clean my dishes, order me a new Thirty-One Bag, or just be there...they always are. I appreciate everything about all of them. ALL of them, and there are a lot.
I have two amazing, beautiful, and incredible daughters. They are exactly what I always wanted and I thank God everyday for them.
I haveone Two angel baby(S) in heaven, and I find peace in knowing that he/she they are up there welcoming new angels everyday ...playing...laughing...and watching over us all.
Some important things to keep in mind...
I love sunshine, and find winters in Michigan mildly depressing, but it's nothing a little working out can't fix right quick.
I'm obsessed with palm trees because of all the "happy" things they represent: sun, warmth, ocean, tropical places, sand, suntan lotion smell, vacation, and that overall "ahhhhh"... It's the one true thing I miss living in Michigan. Sigh...
I love pirates.
77 is my favorite number, always and forever, which is odd (pun intended) because I typically only like even numbers.
I'm bad at math and because of that, I hate math. I do however, have a shit ton of respect for those good at it...
If you need me, you'll find me in the corner counting on my fingers...
(my now 8 year old loves math...so that's cool)
Pigs are my favorite animal. I've always wanted one. They are really smart. It's on my bucket list. Don't tell my husband.
Speaking of dogs, I have a 6lb Chihuahua named Bitty. She is 13. She does not like kids. Did I mention I have 2 kids? Poor Bitty. Bless her little heart. She loves me so much sometimes it hurts. She's a real trooper. She was my first baby. We've been through a lot together. I love her. She actually is finally learning to love the girls. She loves to sit on their laps and except their hugs and kisses.
Last April we rescued about chihuahua friend. Mr. Beans. He can be a real dick, but he's a perfect fit to our family and we love the crap out of him.
I don't have any cavities. Slightly over 30 and cavity free!! Feels pretty good, and I enjoy bragging about it. If I ever get a cavity I'm pretty sure I'll cry. Yes, I'll cry, then I'll blog about it.
I LOVE fireworks. I could watch them every night. I think they are amazing, and they make me feel about 4 years old inside.
(Disclaimer: I do NOT like them when my kids are trying to sleep and my dog is sitting on my head shaking in fear)
Let's keep it to the 4th ok?
I LOVE to vacuum...especially when I get to see the carpet lines cuz it's "good" vacuuming carpet. Vacuuming burber carpet or hard floors doesn't really do it for me. Although it's still enjoyable to get that vacuum hose out and suck up all the crap my kids spill on the floor. Ah yes....Emily hates a dirty floor.
I hate my handwriting. it totally sucks.
I'm a big fan of highlighting, I highlight the crap out of things.
I wear a size 5 shoe, which is kind of annoying because i can never find cute "big girl" shoes. I can't shop at any of the cool shoe places because they never have my size. On the good side, I can buy kid shoes, which are WAY cheaper than "big girl" shoes. Especially Nike's...seriously shoe company's are so dumb, it's the same shoe, you just added glitter laces, and made me pay less. Who's the winner now? ME.
And finally, even though my hubs is a Buckeye, he's pretty awesome, and the best dad ever. I'm one lucky lady to have him as my life mate man friend, and the baby daddy of my kick ass kids. Together we make Harris Nation, and that's a party right there...
